most of the surrounding 13 communities. The system curently combines bus and
rail. DART plans to have 66 miles of light rail in full operation by 2010. Fort

Two major airports are
located within the area, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and
Love Field Airport, which is home to Southwest Airlines providing service

Three new airports will help
double Metroplex aircraft operations by the year 2005, including Alliance Airport, a large commercial field
north of Fort Worth.
